Jordan steps up at Ayscoughfee

Jordan Ravenwood stepped up to play the first Sunday afternoon set at Ayscoughfee Hall last weekend.

The singer and guitarist played an acoustic set after stepping in at the last minute after the originally planned act cancelled.

Councillors Ingrid Sheard, Dave Ashby and Mark Le Sage have got together to put on the well received musical afternoons.

Coun Mark Le Sage said: “I would like to thank Jordan.
“It was lovely to see so many people enjoying themselves selves in the beautiful setting of Ayscoughfee Gardens.”

Coun Sheard said: “Jordan was fantastic. He is a brilliant up and coming musician who has struggled with his own mental health and finds singing and performing a great avenue to help with his day to day life.

“Without hesitation, he stepped in to help when needed.”

The next event is planned for October 6 and set to feature Holbeach Town Band.

Jordan is set to play a session at The Red Lion Hotel in Spalding from 2pm to 4pm today (Thursday).
