Booth floors 10-men Knights

A second-half goal was enough to send 10-man Pinchbeck United to defeat at Stanway Pegasus.

Max Booth’s effort was the only difference between two well-matched sides at the host’s temporary Coggeshall Town ground.
The Knights were reduced to 10 men in the second half when Ollie Fields was sent off for a second yellow card. Jamal Nyang also spent time in the sin bin for dissent.
The Knights had come close to opening the scoring in the 35th minute when Julian Ward’s 25-yard effort forced a great save from the Pegasus goalkeeper.
Knights: Martin, Fields, Kacirek, Melson, Sheriff, A Wallace, Stevens, Howlett, Tate (H Wallace), Ward (Vieira), Parker (Nyang).
Sub (not used): Cranfield.
Attendance: 86.
