Callum looks to fellow creatives

A Spalding poet is putting on an event on Saturday looking to relaunch an arts initiative.

Callum Brazzo will be at the South Holland Centre Cafe looking to meet others from the arts who might be interested in restarting Youth Takeover previously, facilitated by Lincolnshire One Venues.
“It was about meeting like-minded local creatives, developing skills and creating events,” said Callum.
“Whether it was the large-scale, town centre festival Music In The Market Place or the more intimate platform of Acoustic Café held in the South Holland Centre.
“With the South Holland Café rising once again into potential prominence for the town’s art scene, it seems like prime time to start a conversation around bringing Youth Takeover back in some way.
“I once attended these meetings and, as an autistic performance poet, it was amazing to connect with other creatives.
“I think it only makes sense to provide something for the upcoming generation of talent.
“The event on Saturday will start a conversation with whomever wants to continue it.
“Lincolnshire One Venues might have drifted away but the LOV of Spalding has never been more present.”
