LETTERS – Can Festival be moved?

As a long term resident of Spalding, not too far from the leisure centre, I hope for the sake of others that future Spalding Festivals are not held in the town.
Three days and three nights of constant, non-stop heavily amplified drumming (I don’t hear tunes) is the stuff of nightmares and, to be frank, incredibly depressing.
Three long days driven inside; unable therein to concentrate on anything or even to sleep until 11pm comes around is something I hope I never have to experience again.
Can this wondrous and, no doubt, successful event be given the space it deserves – such as the middle of a large field somewhere far, far away?
