LETTERS – Searching for missing panels

About five years ago a group of local people, guided by Fiona, created eight beautiful panels, ostensibly to be hung inside the cemetery chapels.
In recent years, the chapels have been renovated and hopefully the panels will eventually be hung in place.
They were decorated with hand embroidery, cross stitch, appliqué as well as embossed pewter to represent medals awarded to local people.
A great deal of time and effort was spent on creating these panels, depicting the four seasons and life in Holbeach, but so far they don’t appear to have a suitable safe place.
For a few years the panels were hung in the WI building, but during the recent redecorating of that building, nobody seems to be able to confirm their whereabouts or whether they are being safely stored. They should not be folded and need to be in a rodent-free environment.
Maybe a reader of The Voice could cast some light on the current whereabouts of these panels or what their future entails?
