All change on and off the field

Moulton went through quite a transformation over the winter and are aiming for another top-three finish in the South Lincolnshire Border League Championship.

Captain Mark Ramsden said: “We have worked continuously to improve our facilities and are incredibly grateful to have been sponsored by 36 companies, which has allowed us to purchase new covers and a new artificial surface.
“We are on track for our biggest ever academy attendance, which is something we are really excited about, alongside further establishing our women’s team.
“Last season was great for the first XI, to get a
top-three finish and have Josh Newton as top scorer for the league is something we are really proud of.
“We have signed all-rounder Robbie Townsend and also been able to secure young New Zealander Flynn McMillion, an
off-spinning all-rounder, and Blake Wolstenholme, who is an opening batsman from Tasmania.
“Chris Beale has returned from his second season in Australia and is anticipated to slot straight back in at the top of the order.
“There’s a great feel around the club, we are a real tight-knit community.”
