Club will continue to grow in 2024

Holbeach Agricultural Club is all set to dig in and enjoy the fruits of the 2024 series of meetings.

The club meets on the second Thursday of the month at Gedney Victory Hall, doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm starts.
Tonight (Thursday, February 8) is also the AGM which will be followed by a light hearted quiz before the Flower of the Month competition is announced.
The programme includes monthly meetings with a speaker, competitions, and garden visits.
A spokesman for the group said: “Who knew that one of our local food production companies supplies over 700,000 cans of baked beans to supermarkets every single day?
“This is the sort of information, along with where they come from, that you pick up from the diverse range of speakers at Holbeach and District Horticultural Society.
“Members are eagerly looking forward to the new programme of events for 2024.
“Despite not having a meeting in January the committee has not been hibernating and is now looking forward to unveiling another packed programme for the coming year.
“With well over 50 members there is always a warm welcome and somebody to talk gardening with.”
Membership for the club £15 (£25 for a couple) per year plus a £2 charge per meeting.
