Knights endure a night to forget

Pinchbeck United had a night to forget on Tuesday as they went out of the Hinchingbrooke Cup with a 2-1 defeat at home to Eaton Socon.
Eaton are fourth from bottom of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One, a level below the Knights.
At a freezing Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field Amadu Kanu netted for the home side in the opening 20 minutes, but they were pulled back before Eaton netted a late winner.
Pinchbeck were due to play Belper Town in the United Counties League Premier Division North on Saturday but the match was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
They now travel to Heanor Town on Saturday.
Pinchbeck remain bottom of the table, a point behind Hucknall Town in the only relegation place but having played two games more.
