Boy (7) dies two weeks after being hit by car

A seven-year-old boy involved in a road traffic accident earlier this month has died.

Seth Dixon, of Station Road, Tydd Gote, was hit by a car in the village on December 5. He died in hospital on Friday (December 19).

Formal identification procedures and the opening of an inquest will not take place until the New Year.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.

Police were called to the accident, which involved a green Ford Mondeo, from the Wisbech area, just before 4.15pm.
