Pupils enjoy a Wellbeing Week

Monkshouse Primary School recently held a Well-Being week.
Among the events involved were A Life, health and wellbeing workshop company which ran fitness workshops with each year group, including glow-dance sessions.
Local company Worldwide Fruit went in on Tuesday to talk to the children about the journey fruit has to go through before they can buy it from the shops.
A school spokesman said: “They were very kind in providing us with lots of amazing fruit to eat.
“This was distributed throughout the school and the children could help themselves at break and lunch.”
Children in Year Two were very lucky to have a HIIT High Intensity Interval Training taster session from local fitness instructor Nikki Cundy from Embrace Personal Training and Pilates on Tuesday afternoon.
Wellbeing Wednesday and Thoughtful Thursday encouraged the children to understand the different emotions we feel and to learn strategies to help themselves to feel calm and in control when they become overwhelmed.
Mrs Smith and Mrs Elston worked with all year groups delivering Mindfulness taster sessions.
Friendly Friday saw classes swapping around to complete fun activities with older and younger year groups.
Throughout the week there was also a create, draw or make fruit and vegetable monster competition.
The spokesman continued: “The children completed lots of fun activities together and it was so good seeing them all enjoying themselves.”
