Spalding RFC set for final game of the season against high-flying opposition

Spalding RFC conclude their Midlands Three East (South) season on Saturday as they welcome high-flying Dunstablians to the Memorial Field (2pm).

Town go into their season finale in tenth place, but both sides below them – Queens and Daventry – are within striking distance.

A win would guarantee that the Elephants don’t finish bottom, given that they are three points clear of Queens and four ahead of basement side Daventry.

All six of Spalding’s wins this season have come at home, but their opponents on Saturday, second-placed Dunstablians, have the second best away record in the division.
