A man dropped his trousers and exposed his genitals after police said they were arresting him following a positive breath test, a court has heard.
Wesley Beeken, 35, of Earlsfield, Moulton Seas End, who admitted driving with excess alcohol and behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress, was stopped by police at 6.10pm on December 5 in Albion Street, after they had received information about the manner of his driving.
Marie Stace, prosecuting, at Boston Magistrates Court said that following a positive breath test, officers said they were going to search him and his Honda Civic car, at which point he dropped his trousers and exposed his genitals.
He later gave a breath sample showing a reading of 65 microgrammes of alcohol in his breath, the legal limit being 35.
Mitigating, Mark Hudson said there had been a domestic element to the drink driving and that Beeken admitted he had dropped his trousers and had told him what a stupid thing it had been to do.
Banning him from driving for 18 months, the magistrates described it as ‘not your best night’.
They offered him the drink drivers’ rehabilitation course which will reduce the period of the ban by 18 weeks and he was fined £390 for the excess alcohol offence and £260 for the abusive behaviour offence.
He was also ordered to pay a total of £150 in court costs and charges.
