Films for all at the South Holland Centre

There’s something for all the family as the South Holland Centre screens several films this week.

Acclaimed director Wes Anderson’s latest comedy The French Dispatch is on every night at 7.30pm from Friday to Sunday.

As with all of his films it’s a quirky, star-studded romp about an American newspaper in an almost dream-like French city in the 20th century.

Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton and Timothee Chalamet are among the stars.

Speaking of top directors and films set in France, tonight (Thursday) there’s a chance to see Ridley Scott’s historic epic The Last Duel.

Jodie Comer and Matt Damon star in the film about the last legally sanctioned duel in that country.

There’s something for the children at 2pm on Saturday, November 20 as The Boss Baby 2: Family Business rocks up on the big screen.

The sequel to Boss Baby sees the Templeton brothers grown up and drifting away from each other, but a new boss baby with a cutting-edge approach is about to bring them together again – and inspire a new family business.

The legend of King Arthur is the basis for The Green Knight, showing at the South Holland Centre on Wednesday, November 24.

One Christmas at the court of King Arthur a huge treelike man appears and makes the strange demand that whoever gets the better of him in armed combat must return a year later for his own punishment or reward. Step-up a young nobleman who takes the challenge and thereafter commits to a life-altering journey.
