Spalding Primary School pupils hit the streets with a vengeance to complete their second “Big Tidy”.
No litter was left untouched as litter pickers from the school council descended on the local alleyways and streets as well as the school grounds, tidying rubbish from paths and bushes.
Following a previous litter pick, the school council invested money to buy and use their own equipment in order to regularly maintain the tidiness of the school grounds and the local community.
One of the school council members said: “At Spalding Primary School we are a family and a community and we need to help other people too!”.
This year, the school council has decided upon a number of different projects codenamed: “Caring for the Community”, of which this was the first.
