Run of three home games on the spin offers Pinchbeck United manager Crozier hope of a win

A run of three home games in a week has Pinchbeck United boss Tom Crozier gunning for points.

The Knights, who are still without an Uhlsport UCL Premier Division win following Saturday’s 3-1 reverse at Northampton ON Chenecks, kick off the triple-header with a Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field showdown against 11th-placed Cogenhoe United on Saturday (3pm).

Deeping Rangers then visit Pinchbeck on Tuesday (7.45pm), before another home clash against Lutterworth Town the following Saturday.

Crozier feels there were positives to take from the Knights’ latest loss and is encouraged by the progress being made.

“Another game (Chenecks loss) has come and gone where I think we could have got something. But, there are still positives we can take from it.

“The introductions of a few new players, as well as having Elliott Ramsden back, means the squad is starting to look a lot healthier. That will give me a good headache ahead of the Cogenhoe game this weekend.

“This is another game which I feel we can get something from and, with the next three games at home, it’s time to start getting points on the board.

“Thankfully, we have no new injuries and no new suspensions this week.”
