Man (34) dies following collision in Pinchbeck

A 34-year-old man has died following a collision on the A16 at Pinchbeck yesterday (Sunday).

Police were called to the incident that involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a DAF lorry shortly before 6pm.

The 34-year-old was driving the Corsa and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision on the A16, at Pinchbeck.

“At 5.50pm yesterday (August 16) we received a call reporting a collision involving a blue Vauxhall Corsa and DAF lorry.

“The driver of the car, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Anyone who saw the Vauxhall Corsa before the collision, or anyone driving on the A16 around that time who may have dashcam footage, should contact us as your information may help our investigation.”
