Appeal after motorcyclist is injured in hit and run

Police are appealing for information after a Land Rover drove off after being in collision with a motorcycle, the rider of which was left injured.

The incident happened shortly after 11pm on Thursday, August 6 at the A16 Applegreen Roundabout in Spalding.

A man in his 30s who was riding the bike was left with minor injuries as a result.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a motorbike and a car.

“We believe the vehicle involved was a white Land Rover; however it had left the scene before officers arrived.

“The collision happened at around 11.07pm on August 6 on the A16 roundabout by the Applegreen station in Spalding.

“The rider of the bike, a man in his 30s, received minor injuries.

“We would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage that may assist us with our investigation.”
