A lake, boat house and bar boat are some of the attractions at a new West Pinchbeck wedding venue.
Natalie and Lewis Slack, who run Ace Tones Entertainments, are busy renovating Crown Hall Farm.
The farm has a lake and boat house in which they hope to hold wedding ceremonies, plus a bar boat and luxury marquee.
Lewis started Ace Tones Entertainments in 2004, the business managed bands and live acts and promoted them for events. When he met Natalie in 2007 the business had grown and was organising and event managing fun days for companies such as Hotel Chocolat.
Natalie said: “We had outgrown our office and warehouse and it took years to find Crown Hall Farm.
“Not only did it have the warehouse and office space that we required but it has a stunning lake with rustic bridge and boat house.
“At our first viewing we saw the potential to turn the farm into a wedding venue and so after moving in we applied for planning permission which has been granted.
“We will be adding a marquee with panoramic windows overlooking the lake that has capacity for up to 190 people. Outside the marquee will be a seating area with festoon lighting and mood lighting around the trees.
“We are currently converting a 20ft boat into a cocktail bar which will be lit with twinkly lights.
“We are also hoping that we will gain a licence to hold ceremonies in the boat house, with the lake as the back drop.
The couple hope the venue will be open in September and have already taken bookings for weddings in 2021 despite not being able to show people around.
If the social distancing guidelines allow, they are aiming to hold Christmas parties at the farm where people can book a table or the entire venue exclusively.
