Spalding Water Polo have been on fantastic form in their two most recent Herts League matches.
They romped to a 19-5 success over Bedford at the Castle Sports Complex last week, just days after a big 20-8 victory at Hertford.
Spalding were in charge of the match against Bedford from the start and had an exceptional second quarter – winning that 9-0.
Homegrown talent, 15-year-old Roni McCloughlin, made his debut for the senior men’s team and topped off a fantastic game with a goal in the final quarter.
The other goals came from Damian Makwana (5), John James (3), Chris Barham (2), Phil James (2), Ed Martin (2), Tom Marsters, Matt Papworth, Tim Shields and Calvin Wilson.
The scorers at Hertford were Makwana (6), Martin (4), Barham (2), Papworth (2), Wilson (2), John James, Marsters, Nathan Henfrey and Toby Rickett.
Spalding Water Polo train on Tuesday evenings at the Castle (junior sessions 6.45-7.30pm and 7.30-8.30pm, senior session 8.30pm-10pm). All are free to attend.
