LETTERS – I miss the IT2 going into town

Why I miss the IT2 bus going into town.

I live just off Halmergate and rely on the IT bus to go into town.

I have a mile push with my wife in her wheelchair and a mile back and it’s about £15 for a taxi.

The IT2 now goes along Holbeach Road via HIgh Street and Church Street then Stonegate with no stops.

Why can’t it come out of Springfields, turn left, right at the A16 roundabout, right at the next, along Lowfields to the roundabout at the start of Halmergate and continue along the route as usual?
