There was late disappointment for Pinchbeck United as the losing run in the league continued at Eastwood on Saturday.
Seven defeats in a row in the ChromaSport United Counties League Premier Division North has left them in 16th place in the table.
Eastwood came from behind to leapfrog above the Knights in the table with an 88th minute goal from Benjamin Franklin giving them a 2-1 win.
Pinchbeck had been given a seventh minute lead credited to Josh Simpson after an error by the home side’s goalkeeper.
The visitors had the better of the first half but Eastwood grew into the game and they levelled after the break thanks to a long-range strike from Ryan Tate.
Pinchbeck were up against it with 20 minutes left when Nathan Stevens was shown a straight red for pushing an opposition player into the advertising boards.
Pinchbeck looked to hang on but they were undone at the death.
A free kick was swung in and Ben Fairclough bobbled the ball home for Eastwood who parted company with their manager Nick Labbate after the game.
