Young Carers enjoy “Night at Museum”

Young people normally tasked with looking after a family member were treated to a special Night at the Museum recently.

Those that are part of Lincolnshire County Council’s Young Carers programme spent a night sleeping over at Ayscoughfee Hall.

Through the event the under 17s enjoyed exploring the historic corridors, eating and watching films alongside those that provide regular support.

Karen Slator, the early help worker for the Boston and South Holland area, said: “The sleepover went really well and when asked the next day on a of scale 0-10 whether they would want to do it again, we had a resounding and unanimous 10.”
