Long awaited work to reconstruct the A151 at Pode Hole is to take place next month.
Lincolnshire County Council has announced the works will include night-time closures (6pm and 6am) for five evenings starting on Monday November 8, along with daytime closures for the final surfacing on two Sundays November 14 and 21 (6am to 6pm), subject to weather.
Temporary traffic lights have been in place since last November with planed work having already been delayed once.
Road users will be diverted via A151 to Bourne / A15 to Market Deeping roundabout / A1175 to Cowbit roundabout / A16 to the A16-A151 roundabout / A151 to West Pinchbeck, and vice versa.
Karen Cassar, assistant director for highways, said: “To improve the safety and usability of the A151 Bourne Road in West Pinchbeck, we’ll be rebuilding sections of carriageway that are nearing the end of their serviceable life.
“We’ll be doing our best to keep disruption to a minimum through this two-week scheme, including carrying the works out overnight to keep people moving in the day and also maintaining access for residents throughout the works.”
