Woman in her 30s dies in A17 collision

A woman in her 30s has died in a three-vehicle collision on the A17.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information following a three-vehicle RTC on the A17 last night (April 16).

It happened at around 8.45pm near Moulton Marsh, and involved a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, a silver Vauxhall Combo, and a black Land Rover.

Police said the driver of the Vauxhall Combo, a woman in her 30s, suffered severe injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male driver of the Mercedes-Benz is at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, with serious but not life-threatening injuries.  

A stretch of the A17 was closed following the collision. It was fully re-opened at around 4am this morning (April 17).

Anyone who saw the incident, or who saw the vehicles in the minutes before the incident, should contact the police on 101 quoting Incident 409 of April 16.
