Windmill crowd blown away

The first band to play the Moulton Windmill left audiences in a spin recently.

Folk group Pennyless played to a sold out crowd at the windmill on Friday, April 20.

The multi-instrumentalists who are legends of the south Lincolnshire folk scene played songs from their five albums to date, making a keen impression on the crowd. It was the group’s first gig at the windmill but they’re set to return next year.

One of the event’s organisers Alan Lambert said: “Such was the response from the audience that they have been booked to return in 2019.”
