Whitewash opens gap at top

A 7-0 win for Bourne Snooker Centre has widened the gap at the top of the Spalding and District Billiards League.
Elliot Gaunt (R40), Ian Clare (R50) and Lester Gaunt (O10) all won to whitewash Holbeach A.
They now sit 18 points clear of second-placed Donington, who went down 5-2 away to Pyramid A.
Their winners were Reegan Cooke-Holmes (R80) and John Twell (R70), while Tony Scully (R40) got the points for Donington.
Holbeach B got the better of Gosberton A, winning 5-2.
Jamie Mumby (R80) beat Chris Chamberlain (R40) to get Gosberton off to a good start.
Neil Harvey (R50) pulled it back for Holbeach in the next frame, beating Rob Lockett (R100), before Denis Hix (R70) sealed the win for Holbeach over Andy Shephard (R120).
In a clash of the Consti teams, the A team came out victorious, beating the B team 5-2.
John Bellerby (R70) and Stewart Davies (R50) were the winners for the A team.
