Whaplode Drove man due in court following police chase across South Holland

A 31-year-old from Whaplode Drove is due to appear in court today (Friday) after a police car chase through South Holland on Wednesday night (October 6).

Nathan Lake is set to appear before Boston Magistrates Court charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.

Another 31-year-old man from Holbeach has been released under investigation.

It follows the police helicopter being involved in the incident on Wednesday.

A spokesman for South Holland Police said: “Thanks to our ARVs and NPAS air supportor assisting in in bringing a pursuit to a safe conclusion.

“(The incident started in Cowbit and continued across South Holland until a stinger was deployed.”
