Spalding United 0 Carlton Town 3
Spalding United’s three-game winning run came to an abrupt end against play-off chasing Carlton Town at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field on Saturday.
Goals from Nat Watson (17), Niall Davie (27) and Tom Maddison (pen 82) sealed an impressive 3-0 success for the away side, who are just outside the play-offs in sixth.

Brett Whaley’s Tulips, who gave a debut to new signing Tiago Nassunculo from the bench, stay 11th in the Pitching In NPL Midlands Division after their fifth home defeat in the league this season – and the boss wasn’t happy.
Whaley said: “What a difference a week makes! We let ourselves down and got what we deserved.

“We’ve shown that we have the potential to compete against the top sides but this has proved that if you’re not right in this league, you’ll get punished.
“There’s a big week ahead for us now.”
Tulips: Duggan, Floyd, Bucci (Broccoli 71), Marshall, Ward, Cartwright, Jones, Starkie, Edge, Macleod, Seymour-Shove (Nassunculo 72). Not used: Koroma.
Attendance: 221.
