One of Spalding’s best attractions has been named in the top ten per cent of places to visit in the world.
The Spalding Water Taxi has been given the Travellers’ Choice accolade by ratings website TripAdvisor.
It’s due to the ratings left by users being so high they rank in the top ten per cent across the globe.
The running is overseen by Anthony Grunwell who says after a difficult few years due to COVID restrictions, trade has bounced back very well so far this summer and the ability to hire boats proving very popular.
“We’re absolutely delighted with the award,” he said. “On Tripadvisor I think virtually all of the reviews are a 5/5.
“A lot of loving work has gone into making the Spalding Water Taxi the best experience it can be.
“We’ve made it into a highly respected attraction that’s available for everybody.
“It’s been very good so far this summer.
“We’re booked up most Saturdays throughout the summer.”
The certificate sent by Tripadvisor states: “Every year, Tripadvisor celebrates attractions that constantly deliver amazing experiences with a Travellers’ Choice Award and this year the Spalding Water Taxi made the list.
“That means it’s earned positive reviews and ratings over the past year.
“Good job and congratulations.”
