Village surgery reopens

Pinchbeck Surgery re-opened its doors yesterday (Wednesday).

The Church Walk building, which has been closed since the COVID 19 lockdowns, has been taken over as a new branch of Munro Medical Centre.

A benefactor, who wished to remain anonymous, has funded an extensive refurbishment of the building.

A spokesman for Munro said: “Pinchbeck residents will remember that there has been a doctor’s surgery in Church Walk for well over 100 years.

“For some time now it has needed refurbishment, and we are very grateful that the generosity of a local family has allowed us to do this.

“The internal floor plan has been changed to provide two consultation rooms, and planning permission from the local council was not required.

“We look forward to providing our community with another convenient clinic location, which will also relieve traffic pressure on the main Munro Medical Centre site.

“All appointment bookings, queries and administration for the Pinchbeck branch surgery will be made via the main site and can be accessed as usual either online, or by telephoning Munro Medical Centre.

“Please remember that all appointments for the Pinchbeck branch surgery must be pre-booked before travelling.

“Convenient parking is available on Knight Street, and there is space for a single disabled parking space immediately in front of the branch surgery building – please be considerate to our neighbours!”
