Dave ‘Victor’ Simmonds took the honours at Tydd Gote Angling Club’s latest match.
With a bit more colour in the water, there was some expectation beforehand that the North Level at Main Road would fish well for the latest Sunday club match and whilst it wasn’t a real block buster event, there were some nice nets of silvers to be found.
Simmonds on peg five was comfortably out in front with 4lb 10oz of quality roach to pinkie over groundbait.
Dennis Houghton, now has a virtually unassailable lead in the Summer points league and picked up second with 3lb 6oz of silvers from peg seven.
Martyn Thomas was in third spot with 2lb 12oz from peg 8.
