Tydd St Giles see off Dereham challenge

An enjoyable day of golf at Tydd St Giles saw 32 players involved in a closely fought friendly against Dereham GC.

The match was played in excellent spirit, with plenty of camaraderie between the clubs and saw the home team emerge victorious 4½-3½.

Tydd Seniors’ were in action at Ryston Park, near Downham Market, but lost 4-2 on an excellent course.

* Sutton Bridge Seniors’ played host to Heacham Manor and in very hot conditions won 4½-1½. The only losers from Sutton Bridge were Steve Adams and Henry Smith.
