The quartet of Chris Moore, Chris Woods, Noel Bratt and Wayne Davies emerged as winners of Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s seniors’ open four-man team competition.
Their score of 118 points was one point better than the team of Malcolm Pack, Mark Cooper and Lee Smith in second on 117 points.
Back in third place, also with 117 points, were Phil Whitehead, Nev Barnes, Mick Evans and Dave Flippent.
Nearest the pin on the fourth hole was Michael Precious from Royal Norwich, while the closest the pin on hole eight was Tydd’s Tom Ainsley.
Two other Tydd members, Lee Smith and Russell Doy, were also nearest to the pin on the 11th and 16th holes respectively.
Organiser Roy Pesterfield thanked all 114 golfers who took part and was pleased to announce that the halfway house had raised £180 and the raffle £500, with all monies going to the chosen charity of The Little Discoveries.
