Two months of night time closures for the A16 Pinchbeck roundabout have been announced.
They start on Monday, January 20 as part of the improvement works being funded through a £20m Levelling Up government grant.
The A16 will be closed between Ten Acre Lane and the Springfields roundabout from 8pm to 6am on weekday evenings only.
Karen Cassar, assistant director – highways, said: “We’re nearly ready to start resurfacing the roundabout circulatory itself and A16 legs of Pinchbeck Roundabout, including a total three quarters of a mile of the A16 south of the project.
“This means we’re not far away from completing this massive infrastructure project.
“However, to ensure our construction crews can carry this work out safely and efficiently, we need to close off the sections of roundabout overnight where they’ll be working.
“This will no doubt cause some disruption to those travelling between 8pm and 6am, but the closure is an essential part of this phase of the project.”
Northbound traffic will be diverted by the A151 and A17, southbound via the A152 and B1356.
