Trio of victories for Jack and impressive personal best for Megan in latest BADAC outings

South Holland-based members of Boston and District Athletic Club chalked up new personal best (PB) track and field performances in their latest outings.

In the penultimate Turnbull Tommy Clay Track and Field Development Series event last week, Megan Reid was third in the long jump (4.03m), recorded 15.5secs in the 100m and threw 5.83m in the shot.

Representing Lincolnshire at last weekend’s under-13 and under-15 inter-county Match at Hull, Reid also cleared 1.35m in the high jump for seventh place in a new PB.

She also represented Lincolnshire in the discus, throwing 16.26m for sixth place.

At under-11 level, Jack Clark-Atkin again chalked up a trio of victories in the Tommy Clay Development Series Competition.

He won the 80m sprint in 13.0secs, the long jump in 3.43m and the vortex throw in a splendid 31.75m.

Issy Reid recorded 3.28m to win the girls’ long jump, threw 16.03m in the vortex and clocked 14.5secs for the 80m sprint.

Under-9 Mia Clark-Atkin achieved 7.09m in the vortex throw, 2.23m in the long jump and clocked 15.1 secs in the 75m sprint.
