Trinity latest in Ambassador bid

A Spalding teen is looking to emulate her mother as she looks to be the Ambassador for next year’s Spalding Flower Parade.

Trinity Barker (17) has lived in Spalding all her life.

She’s a second year student studying Early Years Education at Peterborough College having previously been a pupil at Spalding High School.

As well as caring for a child with autism at a nursery she also has a part time job at KFC in Spalding.

Trinity says she enjoys day trips with her grandparents to the beach, going to festivals and has danced for around 14 years.

“I would love the experience and meeting different people,” Trinity said of why she applied to be an ambassador.

“My mum was the deputy carnival queen for Pinchbeck and it has inspired me to follow her footsteps so I can be involved and represent my home town.”

Anyone looking to apply (you must be over 18 by May 13, 2023) can contact Jan Whitbourn on 07779 895388, email [email protected] or contact Richard Rush at The Voice on [email protected] and an entry form will be sent for you to fill in.
