Top Spalding Golf Club teen Thomas helps Lincolnshire claims big title

Talented teenager Thomas Hull was part of the Lincolnshire team which won the Midland ten counties under-16 championship.

The 15-year-old, who is a member of Spalding Golf Club and is a pupil at Spalding Grammar School, teamed up with five other players to claim the crown at Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club (Nottinghamshire).

The team was under the stewardship of Spalding Golf Club’s professional Adam Keogh.

Tydd St Giles Golf Club

Roger Davey was the clear Division One winner in Tydd St Giles Golf Club’s senior section Stableford Trophy competition.

His score of 38 points was seven better than his nearest rival. Derrick Marsh, John Elliott and Peter Neve were the other divisional winners.

Gedney Hill Golf Club

A score of 41 points was enough to secure Nick Markillie the Gedney Hill FC Trophy.

He edged out Chris Davies and Rob Bye (39pts) at Gedney Hill Golf Club.
