Tigers C get new season off to good start

Monday night saw the start of the Spalding Darts 2025 summer season and in Division One Tigers C got off to winning ways beating newly promoted Ye Olde Abbey 5-4.

This was a great opening game and Craig Norbury had two 180s, Ant Richardson and Dean Parker both also hit a maximum.
Duncan Hunt hit a 115 check out in his 18-dart leg and Mark Horspool had fine 15 and 16-dart legs.
Abbey’s Stan Browning had a 16-dart leg in his victory.
Last season’s second place Consti A got a fine 8-1 win against their E team.
Elsewhere Lincoln Arms A beat Draymans Arms A 5-4.
On to Division Two and secretary’s pre-season pick was Green Dragon A but they lost 5-4 to newly promoted Consti D.
Sadly Punchbowl carried on losing ways after getting relegated and lost 7-2 to Draymans Arms B.
Pied Calf are also fancied to do well this year and beat second placed from Division 3 last year Holbeach Services 8-1.
Ship Long Sutton who were relegated last year managed to get off to winning ways in Division Three beating Royal Mail Cart 5-4.
Green Dragon B had a fine start beating Lincoln Arms B 6-3 with Finn Mottram firing in a 180 in his 18-dart leg win with pairs partner Ben Laud.
New team Draymans Arms C had a great win and won 7-2 against Moulton Harrox (Punchbowl B from last season).
