Friendly gets the season underway

By tradition to get the season’s golf under way Sutton Bridge Golf Club played a friendly match against the senior section of the golf club.

The club was led off by this year’s team captain James Little, with his playing partner Edgars Ozcks, against this year’s seniors’ captain Robert Sewell and partner Tony Fox.
After an enjoyable round of golf played in bright sunshine the game was halved.
A further three games were played, in which the seniors were victors.
The end result was a victory to the seniors by three and a half to a half.
The afternoon finished in the clubhouse for a chat and drinks to wish all club members a good golfing season.
