Lincoln A get one over D team

In the Lincoln Arms derby in Division A of the Pinchbeck and District Winter Darts League, it was the league-leading A team that came out winners over the D team, beating them 6-3.

Stacey Banister was on fine form for the D team beating veteran Karl Rolfe in a close 2-1 single’s win having a 16-dart leg. Rolfe also with a 16-dart leg.
Dean Murray was the star for the A team hitting a 180 and a 14-dart leg, beating Dan Gent 2-0. Gent also registering a 180.
The fight for runners-up spot is hotting up with third placed Consti Club C getting a 6-3 win over Services Club B to go level on points with four games to go.
Paul Faulkner had a 180 and a 17-dart leg for Consti.
Consti Club B won 5-4 away at Pinchbeck FC A.
In a close game it was Chris Howling securing the win by taking the last leg for the second week running beating Craig Woods 2-1.
Both players hitting a 180 during the match and Howling having a 100 check-out.
Howling also had a 15-dart leg with partner Graham French in their pairs game.
Matt Broderick also hit a 180 for the Consti side.
In Division B, leaders Consti Club Z, stay top with a 7-2 away win at Draymans Arms A.
Calum Ward with a 100 check-out for Consti.
Second-placed Green Dragon Z had a 7-2 win over their C team.
Jamie Robson hit a 180 and a 100 finish for the C side.
Consti Club D won 6-3 away at Services Club A.
Mark Jones hitting a 180 for Services in his 2-1 single’s loss to Danny Drage.
Lincoln Arms C also had a 6-3 away win at Consti Club A.
Dwayne Harrison, Steve Doades and Tony Brown winning the last three singles to secure the win for the Lincoln side.
