Three charged with affray after incident outside nightclub

Three men have been charged with affray after an incident outside a Spalding nightclub in February.

Kristaps Zarins (30) and Dovydas Bagdonas (30) from Spalding as well as Vasilijus Klimuk (28) from Kent will appear before Boston Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 15.

A man was left in what police described at the time as a “critical condition” following the incident outside Loaded nightclub in Westlode Street which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, February 25.

Lincolnshire Police released several appeals for information following the incident.

Inspector Gareth Boxall of Spalding Police, said: “South Holland Police take violence on our streets very seriously and we work hard to prosecute those responsible.

“Hundreds of people enjoy Spalding’s pubs and nightclubs every week and it is a shame that incidents like this happen from time to time.

“We want to make sure that people are and feel safe not only during the day but when they’re on nights out too. We continue to work with the landlords and owners of local pubs, clubs and takeaways, as well as the PubWatch Scheme to reduce violence and disorder in the town.”
