Tasty treat to return to town

Holbeach Food Festival is set to return next month.

Now in its seventh year, the festival is looking forward to bringing some normality and fun back into the town with a variety of food, drink and community stands on Saturday and Sunday, September 4 and 5.

It’s being run once again in conjunction with Royals Gym which will be putting on its very popular strongman/strongwoman competition which will run over both days.

The event will be held in Carter’s Park in Holbeach and will be open from 10am to 4pm.

Coun Nick Worth who organises the event said: “After a year’s break because of the pandemic I am delighted to be able to bring this local celebration of food and drink back to Holbeach which is at the centre of the food industry.

“We have some new stalls this year including Birdhouse Brewery, Homemade Luxury Temptations and Holbeach Women’s Institute alongside some of our regular local producers Churchill Ciders, Berberis House Apiary with their fabulous honey, the Old Exchange Mobile Bar, Laddies Ices, regular market attendee PYO Produce with soft fruit, and many more.”
