Take your shot for a cash prize

A local photography group have relaunched their annual competition so more can take part during the current COVID-19 lockdown measures.

Long Sutton Photography Group now wants your pictures of Lincolnshire landscapes and have opened its 2020 competition up to emailed entries as well as postal.

The competition is open to everyone until June 30 and there’s prizes for both adults and youth categories.

There’s also cash prizes on hand for the top three places in all competitions.

A spokesman for the group, said: “We had originally planned for Lincolnshire Flower Festivals but as the Coronavirus pandemic led to all the festivals being cancelled we took the decision to relaunch the competition Lincolnshire Landscapes.”

The group has also announced it is selling local scene cards which you can purchase from the website or by contacting any of the previously mentioned group members.

The cards costing £2 each feature scenes from Long Sutton, Sutton Bridge, Lutton, Gedney Dawsmere, Tydd St Mary and Fleet.
