Susanna’s walk for MND

A woman is walking the coast of England to raise money and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease.
Susanna Janner (64), from Walthamstow in London, stayed at the Anglia Motel in Fleet Hargate last week as she passed through on her journey.
She set off from London on Aprll 1, 2022 and hopes to have finished her challenge by the end of October.
Susanna, who decided to take on the task in memory of her mum who had MND, has raised around £2,000 so far.
She has been back to London throughout the challenge for various reasons and then returned to the spot she left to continue her walk.
She has the coast of East Anglia and Essex to finish before she’ll be home, having completed around 2,800 miles along the coast.
She said: “Some of the walk has been hard going as there’s not always a path near to the coast but I’ve tried to stay as close as I could.
“I’ve avoided any injuries so far, except being scratched by the odd bramble when I’ve made a bad decision!”
