Sunday football round-up: Big-hitters Jubilee and SSJ roar into Knockout Cup final

The Spalding and District Sunday League’s leading two teams have booked a mouth-watering date with each other in the Knockout Cup final.

Table-topping Jubilee and unbeaten Sutton St James will clash at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field later in the season after impressive semi-final showings.

Jubilee thumped Pinchbeck United Sunday 11-0 at Monkhouse Lane, with four-goal Declan Earth doing the most damage.

Chris Hall, Danny Maddison, Daniel Nichols, Bobby Patterson, Robbie Relf, Steve Sinfield and Ryan Wheeler got the others.

Meanwhile, SSJ edged out rivals Mulberry with Kurt Scott (2), Jake Lally and Brad Fox 4-2 netting.

In the John Chappell Shield, Fosdyke wrapped up a 17-4 aggregate win over Up The Fish Reds by romping home 12-0.

Liam Meads (4), Jordan Tate (3), Jake Baxter (3), Lee Jackson and Kyle Reed got their goals.

In the league, Dan Whitehouse’s hat-trick helped resurgent South Holland United beat hosts FC Kirton 4-1.
