Steve’s fine start to new championship season

Reigning 750 Motor Club BMW Car champion Steve Schweikhardt picked up where he left off last year with a good start to the 2024 championship.

The opening round of the year was at Donington Park on Sunday (April 1) with two 20-minute races.
Steve qualified in second place in the wet conditions and after a poor start battled back to finish in fourth overall and sixth in class for race one.
The rain had dried for race two and after a battle with Paul Travers he eventually finished sixth overall and second in class.
The next round of the 23-race calendar takes place at the Croft circuit on April 20 and 21.
