Standing up against racism

Students at University Academy Holbeach wore red in a show of support against racism.

Pupils were invited to wear an item of red clothing on Wear Red Day on Friday as a gesture of unity against racism.

Head of performing art at the school Sam Graper said: “Over the past few weeks, the school has held events linked to Black History Month, including themed assemblies and quizzes and this was another part of the Academy’s aim to promote tolerance throughout the school community.”
