Speedster Pulling gunning for W Series glory at legendary Paul Ricard track in France

Gosberton speedster Abbi Pulling returns to W Series action this weekend for round four in France.

Pulling has been in stellar form so far in the series and will arrive at the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet second in the driver standings.

She started the season with finishes of fourth and sixth in Miami, before a second place in Barcelona and then third position in the last round at Silverstone.

That leaves Pulling second in the overall standings, although she’s a hefty 47 points behind runaway leader Jamie Chadwick.

The South Holland star will be hoping to be in the hunt for at least another podium in Southern France.
Practice and qualifying will take place on Friday, with the race taking place at 1.50pm local time on Sunday. All sessions will be live on Sky Sports.

Pulling was able to give Alpine’s 2012 E20 Formula 1 car a drive prior to the last round of the series at Silverstone, giving her a taste of the extra power she wants to experience regularly in F1.
