Spalding United on the road at Shepshed Dynamo as they bid to end winless run

Spalding United are bidding to put an end to their unwanted winless streak when they visit Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday (3pm).

Gaby Zakuani’s Tulips haven’t won a game in any competition since their thrilling 3-2 victory over rivals Stamford back on September 7.

That’s a run of five games and has seen them drop to 11th in the table.

Hosts Shepshed are ninth but have lost two of their four league games at their Butthole Lane base so far this season.

Zakuani could hand starts to Gregg Smith and Marcus Maddison after they made appearances as substitutes in last Saturday’s 2-1 home reverse against Cambridge City.
