Spalding man found not guilty of child sex offences

A Spalding man has walked free from court after he was cleared of 11 sexual offences by a jury.

Mark Street, 51, of Akita Close, had denied all 11 allegations during a six day trial at Lincoln Crown Court.

The jury returned not guilty verdicts on seven counts of indecent assault and one charge of indecency with a child on Tuesday afternoon (December 3).

Mr Street was also found not guilty on one charge of sexual assault on a child aged under-13, one count of exposure and one offence of voyeurism.

Following the not guilty verdicts, Recorder Simon King discharged Mr Street from the dock in court room number two at Lincoln Crown Court.
